Greenwood, DE - With all the negative news surrounding the housing market these days, it is refreshing to hear about a company that is not only surviving, but thriving in a tough economy. One particular success story is taking place right here on Delmarva. On Tuesday, February 2nd, Beracah Homes celebrated a milestone as the 1000th home was completed in their factory in Greenwood, Delaware.

CAMBRIDGE - October 20, 2009 -- Bay River Homes, a Beracah Homes preferred builder, has opened a new location in Cambridge to complement its current location in Denton. This brings to 13 the number of Beracah Homes sales centers on Delmarva. Each sales center is independently owned and operated, and is an approved builder of Beracah Homes.

Greenwood, DE – July 8 2008 – Beracah Homes has announced the unveiling of a new version of its popular “Pocomoke” model at this year’s 2008 Delaware State Fair. Harrington natives and previous State Fair livestock exhibitors Roger & Wayne Collison, worked extensively with the Delaware State Fair to have this new model completely box set, before the start of this year’s fair. The home will give fair attendees the opportunity to tour a Beracah built model home, which is constructed locally at Beracah’s modular plant in Greenwood.

Greenwood, DE - February 19 2008 - Beracah Homes recently opened three new model homes at sales centers across Delmarva. These models are taken from a new 68-page floor plan catalog that Beracah is offering customers as available homes built in their facility.

Greenwood, DE – December 16 2008 – Beracah Homes and their preferred builders recently completed Green Advantage certification at a 2 day workshop held at the Beracah plant in Greenwood. David Johnston, author of Green from the Ground Up, conducted the workshop, and represented the 3rd party certification agency Green Advantage®.

Greenwood, DE – November 17 2008 – Beracah Homes has received official certification from the Energy Services Group in Wilmington on the first Energy Star Certified home built out of their Greenwood, Delaware plant. The home marks an introduction into an option line that will be available on all Beracah Homes. “Energy Star Certified” increases a home’s operating efficiency through increased construction efforts, and in turn provides significant savings on energy usage & utility bills.

Greenwood, DE – July 17 2009 – Beracah Homes is showcasing a new model at this year’s Delaware State Fair. “The Marydel” is a universally designed, green built home that showcases a new standard of construction from the Beracah plant in Greenwood. A certified Energy r manufacturing partner, Beracah is also making the model home an educational piece, with their preferred builders giving personal tours and further highlighting the homes various new features.
