Energy Efficiency

Energy performance starts with a coordinated plan for the home, property, climate, systems, and budget. Beracah builds each home in a controlled factory environment, helping protect materials and key construction stages while supporting consistent installation and quality checks.

    Built Around Your Project

Every home and homesite is different. Beracah can discuss insulation, air sealing, windows and doors, heating and cooling equipment, ventilation, water heating, and other efficiency choices as part of the project’s design and specification process.

Options, products, and performance targets depend on the plan, project location, applicable codes, selected systems, budget, and current material availability.

    ENERGY STAR-Ready Construction
Beracah homes can be prepared with energy-conscious construction details and project specifications. If a customer wants an ENERGY STAR certification or another third-party program, that goal must be identified early so the required design, documentation, testing, inspections, and participating professionals can be coordinated for the specific project.

Beracah doesn't issue a final home certification unless the applicable third party has completed the required process and issued the certification.

    HERS and Third-Party Testing
A HERS rating is a project-specific evaluation performed by a qualified third-party energy professional. Ratings, test results, certifications, and inspection outcomes cannot be guaranteed in advance. Availability, scope, cost, and responsibility for testing must be confirmed for the individual project.

    Talk Through Your Goals
Whether the priority is comfort, lower air leakage, efficient equipment, solar readiness, or another performance objective, Beracah’s team can help connect those goals to the plan and specification process.
