Our Process
Our Process
Building a Beracah Home is a coordinated process from the first conversation through move-in. We help you review your land and plans, prepare the home for production, build it inside our Greenwood factory, coordinate delivery and crane set, and complete the home on site.
The timeline below explains what to expect for a standard Beracah customer project.
Start With Your Land and Home Plan
Meet with Beracah in Greenwood to tour our model homes, ask questions, and discuss the land where you plan to build. Bring a floor plan you like or explore Beracah floor plans with us. We will review your goals, explain what may work for your property, and develop preliminary pricing. Once you are ready to proceed, an initial deposit starts the formal plan process.
Financing Your Beracah Home
A Beracah Home is financed much like a site-built home, typically through a construction loan or a traditional mortgage. You may use your current lender or ask Beracah for guidance on lenders familiar with modular construction. Financing, budget, land, site work, and the home plan should be aligned before the project moves into final design and production.
Finalize Your Home Design
Beracah develops preliminary drawings for your home and reviews them with you. Together, we refine the structural design, room layout, and important details until the plan is ready. You will then select colors, countertops, fixtures, electrical locations, and other finishes. After you approve the final plans and selections, Beracah releases the home for production.
Build Your Home in Our Factory
After the plans are released, Beracah coordinates the work needed to prepare your project for construction, including permits, site work, and the foundation. Your home is then built in a controlled environment at Beracah’s Greenwood factory. Customers are welcome to visit and see their home taking shape during factory construction.
Delivery and Set Day
Beracah's Transportation Department delivers the completed modules to your property. On set day, Beracah coordinates the crane and experienced set crew as the sections are placed on the foundation and joined together. This is the day your floor plan becomes a full-size home on your land.
Beracah Field Teams Finish Your Home
After the set day, Beracah’s Field Teams continue the project on site. They complete and coordinate the electrical and plumbing connections, HVAC, flooring, siding, porches, garages, countertops, and other work included in your project. Beracah remains with you through this phase as the factory-built sections become your finished home.
Final Inspections and Move-In
When the on-site work is complete, Beracah coordinates the required final inspections and confirms that the home is ready for its certificate of occupancy. After the home passes inspection, Beracah completes the final handoff so you can move into your new home.
