When most people think about building a new home, they picture warm weather and long summer days. But for those who plan ahead, fall and winter are actually the smartest seasons to start. And when your home is being built indoors, like every Beracah Home, you’re already ahead of the curve.

Beracah Homes builds every home inside a controlled environment at our facility in Greenwood, Delaware. Factory construction takes place indoors, so many building activities have less exposure to weather than traditional outdoor construction. Project timing still depends on plans, permits, site work, production scheduling, delivery, set, inspections, and field completion. Walls go up straight, materials stay dry, and each section is built to exacting standards before it ever leaves the factory floor. Once factory construction is complete, the modules are delivered and set on the lot. The crane set itself may occur quickly, but the full project includes site preparation and on-site completion before final inspections and customer handoff.

Starting your build now means your plans, permits, and site work are all completed during these winter months. By the time spring arrives, your home is ready for finishing touches and you to move in. It’s a smart schedule that puts you months ahead of those waiting for warmer weather.

Since construction at Beracah continues year-round, your project stays on track while others are just getting started. Whether you’re planning your forever home, a coastal retreat, or one of our new Cottages and ADUs, this is the time to begin.

Fall and winter can be useful planning seasons. Starting earlier may help position a project for later completion, but no move-in season or date can be guaranteed.
